Abstract
The research aimed to develop a mobile application for understanding and synthesizing bioclimatic strategies relevant to architectural composition in the academic context, focusing on university student population as the main target. A mixed methodology was employed, starting with a qualitative approach to identify pertinent topics and then transitioning to a quantitative approach to determine the usage of technologies in academia. The choice of a mobile application stemmed from the need to gradually acquaint students with bioclimatic concepts, avoiding complexity and excessive volume of suggested topics. Essential themes such as air, sun, and water were selected for inclusion in the application, aiming to align with the social nature of students and enable adaptation and updates in the future. In summary, the goal was to develop a flexible and adaptable mobile application that allows university students to acquire knowledge of bioclimatic topics and utilize them both inside and outside the classroom throughout their academic journey.
